Know and Obey All Range Rules
- All students and instructors should maintain as safe a training environment as is reasonable possible.
- HORSEPLAY AND UNSAFE BEHAVIOR IS NOT TOLERATED, AND MAY LEAD TO REMOVAL FROM THE RANGE (NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN IN THIS CASE).
- KNOW AND OBEY THE GUN SAFETY RULES:
- All guns are always loaded.
- Never let the muzzle cover anything that you are not willing to destroy.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
- Be sure of your target and beyond.
- Keep your muzzle pointed down range at all times while on the firing line.
- Do not load guns or magazines until instructed to do so by an instructor.
- Do not manipulate your gun when you are not on the firing line.
- Never manipulate your gun, magazines or ammunition when anyone is down range.
- In the case of a firearm or equipment malfunction that cannot be resolved, notify an instructor.
- Alcohol and drug use is not tolerated before or during shooting.
- Wear appropriate eye and hearing protection.
- In the case of a CEASE FIRE command, shooting stops immediately. Guns are placed on safe and holstered or placed on stand.
- Advise an instructor immediately of ANY injury that occurs during training.
** ANYONE MAY CALL A CEASE FIRE TO STOP AN UNSAFE SITUATION **
